Do you love Yorkshire, love wildlife? Are you as passionate as we are about promoting nature tourism on the East Coast? Can you inspire others to pursue our vision too?

Using Coastal Communities funding we are looking to appoint a Tourism Development Officer to support and develop the exciting Nature Tourism offer in our county. The post holder will lead on promotion through a dedicated website and social media channels, as well as stakeholder orientation and tourism industry events. The officer will also oversee production of print products and interpretive materials.

You will have knowledge and experience of marketing and communications preferably with an understanding of environmental issues and natural history. You will be confident in engaging with a wide range of audiences and be able to work independently as well as part of a team with the flair to develop new ideas and concepts. A full, clean driving license is required as you will often need to travel within the east of the region and sites may not be accessible by public transport.
